I thought this was hilarious, sad, and amazing all at the same time.

Spring Break

I am so relieved that I do not have to go to class for the next week. Yes, I will be working on multiple projects the entire time, but the removal of class from my day makes life much more simple. On Thursday or Friday I will probably be going to Chicago to check out some shows in galleries/the Institute/MoCP/MCA and also shop for some clothes as well. In the past couple of weeks I decided that I would like to start only wearing white, grey, and black. This idea was inspired by an article I read about five people in New York who only wear one colour. I already have a lot of grey/black clothes, so I figured it should not be too hard to wear such a limited palette. I am having trouble with it, though, as my clothes recycle faster than I would like them to. On a semi-unrelated note, I would like to purchase a suit in the near future. Grey, white, or black, of course. Express has two that I really like right now, but due to my current state of unemployment I cannot afford to buy either and subsequently get it tailored.

Elsewhere in life I have been slacking. I have many ideas for projects, but none of them have come anywhere near seeing the light of day. If I can get through this school year then I may feel like working on them this summer. I would like to at least begin a book or script and start work on some sort of long-term photo project before the end of the year (school or calendar).

I have been slowly progressing my study abroad application. I am pseudo-accepted by my home university, and my host uni application has been filled out and should be in the mail. I have been attending all of the required meetings here and if all goes well I should be abroad this fall and next spring. This is my second attempt at going abroad, as the first one was foiled by my change of major approximately a year ago.
