Lately I’ve been into talk radio a lot. Not the type of talk radio you’re thinking of though. The type I’m talking about is hacker talk radio. Basically you go to the radio’s website and download an mp3 of the show and listen to it. I really enjoy it because its talking about things I’m interested in and that I already know about, but giving a fresh view on it. So I guess just saying I got gmail made my hits go up…very interesting. I still wasn’t in the top 50 for today. I don’t care tho. This is just about my life, so I don’t expect anyone but my friends to be interested. Today I reinstalled Windows XP on my laptop. There is no more Linux. Now it is just Windows XP. My mom may be getting it soon, if my parents buy it off of me, so I didn’t want to do anything too drastic to it. I did copy all of my linux and windows files over to a different computer before I reformatted, and while it was reformatting I cleaned them up so there are a lot of new folders and everything is nice and good looking and easily managed. I’m hoping to purcahse a desktop soon, and the money my parents would pay me for my laptop would help with that. I want to try to get $1000 out of them, which would only leave me with $500-600 of the tab. The processor would be an AMD 64 3400+ with 1.5 GB of RAM, a 200GB hard drive, a DVD burner, a CD burner, a 19″ monitor, a keyboard, mouse, and an awesome case. So overall, the system wouldn’t be too shabby. Actually it would be the fastest computer I’ve ever owned, and the fastest computer in my house! So it would be AWESOME! I know of no one with an AMD64, so that would be leet to be the first among my friends to have one. I guess that’s it. I’m out.

I had work from 10:30 until 7 both today and yesterday. lol…i started typing this and then kinda abandoned it. lol. Today I was stocking the Cherry Rage Fruit by the Foot, so I just went and got some. yum! and then I got some chocolate milk too. it good. Some of the guys were still there working. I also saw someone with another person who was either jer boyfriend or her brother…actually I’m not even sure if the person I saw was teh person I’m thinking it was. But if it was, I really hope that person was with her brother, NOT her boyfriend. Otherwise…well. I won’t go there since I don’t like what “there” is. I guess I’ll just go play my geetar.

So the website for the black hand is back up! You can check it out here! We are now hosting the forum on our server, so it’s more elite than the invision free one. I think it looks pretty good. Today David and I went to Best Buy..we stopped off at school before we got there, and Travy was there, so he came along with us. Today was David’s birthday, so he bought himself a new cd player, the “Cable Guy” dvd, and a cd. Don’t remember which one :/. Everyone but his parents and Amy [his girlfriend] had forgot it was his birthday, and obviously I didn’t get him anything cause I had forgotten. Oh well… Other than that today was rather uneventful. Willy Wonka was on. I didn’t watch it tho, cause I felt like working on the server. I guess that’s it for today. More tomorrow!

I just got off of my real first day of work. I was there for 6 hours…was supposed to take 2 breaks, but I only took 1. :/ It’s pretty easy…mainly stocking stuff. Once in a while they call me up front to bag, which isn’t hard either. It’s actually easier. I wish I just bagged. Less guessing what you have to do. You just do it. Kinda like Nike. But not really. I think I’m just gonna sit back for the rest of the night. Nothing really to do.

Just got off work. It was my first day. Well, it wasn’t actually work cause it was orientation. Fun stuff. I got to sit around for 2 hours and get paid for it! Tomorrow I work from…well i dunno, but I do know I work 30 hours this week! Crazy, isn’t it? There’s really nothing to do right now..I have a van, so I could go somewhere, but I don’t know where to go. Maybe to the grocery store! Where I just was! Maybe not….I feel like getting a good magazine. Don’t know which one though. Perhaps Guitar World. whatever. w0rd uberuser. oops. wrong place.

I’m having to put all my songs back onto my iPod for reasons I’d rather not mention here since they will take too long. right now it’s on about 200 of 908 songs. It’ll take a bit longer. After that I’m going to Radio Shack to see if they have anything I can record phone conversations with. I want to start a radio show with the black hand and that is the only way we can think of having all of us talking at once. bleh…so that’s about it.

Well, the site for the black hand is gonna be down for a bit longer. Don’t know how long, but it’s probably gonna be like 2-3 more weeks before it can go up. Maybe with a reinstall of the OS. Whatever works. Today was boring…nothing happened really. Got xwindows working on gentoo…fun stuff. right now openoffice.org is installing. I recommend it if you want to get away from microsoft, cause there’s a windows version too. Check it out @ www.openoffice.org.
