this is crazy…yesterday i went out to nick’s house and on the way david taught me how to peel out in our car..anyway, when i got back home my dad knew that i had peeled out. i don’t know how he knew!

I ended up installing Linux on the server instead, but then I forgot to include the NIC when I upgraded the kernel, so I’m having to do it over again. 
It looks like make all is almost done so it shouldn’t be too long after that. ooh its done. brb. Just did the module stuff, so now make install is doing its thing. I’ve been hanging on IRC all morning, and I got up at 5 to go to the farmer’s market, but my mom brought my sister and I home at 9, so I’ve been here since then. ooh make install is done. brb. k i just need to reboot now. I’ll do that after I’m done with this. Actually I am done with this, so I’ll go do that now.

FREEBSD 4.9!
I just got back from Nick’s house and I got the network card so I’m doing a fresh install of FreeBSD 4.9 on the box, and then I’ll be installing some services, and then I’ll have the server running! It should be pretty leetified. then i’ll be able to host the site! So while it’s instaling, I’m going to be working on my thing for “The Old Man and the Sea” for English — its gonna be like a homestar cartoon, but a scene from the book. It should get me an A+, cause the teacher is like all computer illiterate. It’ll be rawsome. So I better get to work.

So you can tell me what you think, if you want. It doesn’t really matter, cause it’s only like 9% of my semester grade. So it shouldn’t kill me if I get like a C+ on it. I need to pick up a network card so I can get my FreeBSD box hooked up. Then I can have a file server! Yay! So that’ll be kewl. It’s gonna cost me like $15 though, or maybe I can get that one back from Nick. Dunno. Should be kewl. If you want a shell on it when its up, just ask and if I like you then you can have one. lol. I better go find out how to make flash cartoons so I can do one for my english presentation. latas.

english paper
weird….i didn’t hit submit…anyway right now i’m supposed to be finishing my english paper! but obviously i’m not!! i’m just on irc and writing in here and stuff. my paper is on the similarities between love and hate and stuff like that. so i guess i better go work on it. i’ll write more here lata tonight. post a comment on what i should detail in my next post. or like post a question or two for me. that’d be cool. like interview cool.

w00t i have a sharpie exactly like this! good times, good times. So right now I’m in the middle of doing my Spanish homework. It’s a worksheet from this video called “La Catrina”. It’s like a soap opera in Spanish, which wouldn’t be so horrible if we just had to watch it, but we have to do these gay sheets on what was in the video…..ok I just finished it. There was like a 10 minute pause between the last sentence and the one before it. But that’s the beauty of the Internet, you guys can read all this at once. So what’s everyone here up to? Tonight some people from church are coming over to our house for dessert. I don’t know why it’s just for dessert, but that’s what they’re coming over for. They’re cool though. They have two kids, and one of them is my age, so I’m hoping they’ll let me drive him around. Actually he’s like a year or two younger, but he’s like 6 foot tall, so he’s practically my age. The height makes up for it. Guess I better go clean my room so it’s not horrible.

hrm.
So today started off by me forgetting my glasses and cellphone at home. Then at school I wasn’t able to read the board so I didn’t pay attention in Math so I don’t understand tonight’s assignment, and neither does yellog. I got an 87 on my last test, so thats kinda ok. I got an 80 on my spanish test, though, which isn’t good. I need to be getting an A in that class. I probably should go do my math homework right now, but I don’t feel like it. I haven’t felt like doing anything lately. The neighbor girl and her friend are outside smoking…it’s so annoying. i hate the smell of cigarettes. and then the fact that smoke is filling your lungs….gross.

Mother’s Day is today!
Sooooo…..how was everyone’s Mother’s Day? Mine was good….but I’m not a mother, so I didn’t get any presents or stuff like that. lol, I’m not even a girl. I got my mom these five red bowls from Pier One. She already had one of them and wanted to complete the set, so I got her the rest of them. We went to Texas Roadhouse today for lunch. It was pretty good, but I had too many rolls, so I could barely eat my steak, let alone the two sides that came with it. I wish I had some of those rolls right now. They are excellent! w00t. Today I found out that this guy I know knows the author of blackbox. I think that’s pretty leet. I also learned that he knows how to use 32 operating systems! That is REALLY leet! Like 31337. Yeah, that leet.
Does anyone here want to offer me free web hosting? I’d need the following:

1GB bandwidth [or more]

mysql
ftp access
and if it had cpanel that would be great too, but it isn’t absolutely necessary.

Van Helsing
Just got back from Van Helsing with David. It was pretty awesome. Not really much to say about it though cause I dont’ want to ruin it for those of you who haven’t seen it. w00t.

Today in PE we went down to the park and played basketball outside and it was soooooooooo hot. I’m really tired. I might go for a drive soon. I don’t really hae anywhere to go, I just want to leave. I finished my rough draft of my paper last night. It’s a bit short, so I’m gonna have to lengthen it, but it looks good so far. Tomorrow me and yellog might go see Van Helsing. I say might because I’m not sure if my mom will let me go because my cousin and her family is coming to help her move in. She’s gonna be here for 6 weeks and she has an internship at a local hospital. I really hope my mom will let me go though. It looks like an awesome movie. I don’t have any money to see it tho. Need to get a job.
